Seavus

2024

We were commissioned to create a reveal video for the new, upgraded offices of Seavus, the regional leader in the IT industry. With over 2000 employees engaged in highly demanding global projects, the company stands as a unique hub for the rapid career development of the finest talents available in the market.

the challenge

The objective was to showcase the Seavus offices in the most favorable light while also conveying the brand's values to attract suitable talent. However, these values differ from the typical perks one might expect from an IT company, such as ping pong tables, Friday noon cocktails, team building events, and other non-work-related benefits. Instead, Seavus draws talent with its involvement in exciting global projects, a top-notch learning environment, and access to the latest technology.

An additional challenge was to keep the video within a 60-second timeframe, during which we needed to feature most of the 4000m² office space, while also attempting to depict some of the aforementioned company values.

the approach

For us, it was clear that using the classic video production approach to capture everything within 60 seconds would be challenging. Therefore, we immediately recognized the need to employ any means possible to simultaneously showcase the values and the majority of the office space.

The first opportunity lay in selecting a technology that would provide the dynamic visuals standard cameras couldn't, while also reflecting the company's commitment to cutting-edge technologies. The natural choice was to use an FPV (First Person View) Drone to fly inside the offices. This approach would not only offer the required visual dynamics but also demonstrate our advanced technological choices, aligning with the company's values.

The second opportunity involved the scenario and planned editing. We aimed to use as many one-take shots as possible, enhancing them with dynamic jump cuts.

Finally, to portray the work dynamics and the company's vibrant and busy environment, we decided to imbue the entire video with a rhythm and sound that mimicked dynamic keyboard typing, reminiscent of fast coding.

the process and result

We undertook the challenging task of capturing a one-take indoor drone shot of the Seavus offices, conducting a smooth test run with a skilled FPV drone operator. This preparation ensured we were ready for the main shoot.

Our meticulous planning was communicated clearly to the Seavus team, and we employed VR glasses linked to a screen for real-time monitoring, allowing for immediate adjustments during the shoot. Our extensive shooting approach provided a wealth of material for creative editing.

The final product was a dynamic and engaging video that captured the essence of the offices, earning high praise from employees and remarkable engagement on social media. It showcased the unique workplace and the company's distinct values, reinforcing its industry leadership.
